Purchasing a new mattress can be daunting, especially when there’s so many options out there! To give you peace of mind, we offer a free mattress trial giving you 100 nights to fall in love with your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, simply contact us to arrange a returnand get your money back!* Any returned mattresses will either be repurposed or donated to the Australian Red Cross – Homelessness Hub.

Your Responsibilities


  • You must have made a purchase on or after the 12th of August 2021 with an approved mattress protector that appears on the same invoice as your mattress.

  • You must retain the packaging and pallet supplied on delivery (as you will need these items later should you choose to return). 

  • You must use the Mattress Protector on your mattress at all times and be able to demonstrate that you have fulfilled this requirement. 

  • You must try the mattress for at least 60 nights before making a request for return. A request for return will not be accepted until after a full 60 night trial. 

  • If, after sleeping on your mattress for a full 60 nights, you are not completely satisfied, you must contact us within 100 nights of purchase to arrange for its return. 

  • You must arrange for the mattress to be dropped off at your local Mainfreight Depot, wrapped in its original plastic, labelled, and secured to the pallet supplied on delivery. If you do not have the original plastic or pallet supplied on delivery, you will be charged a standard fee for any replacements.


  • Our 100 Night Mattress Trial does not apply to mattresses on sale or discounted through Our Referral Program. 

  • Our 100 Night Mattress Trial does not apply to custom orders, special sizes, demo or floor stock models.

  • A maximum of two mattresses per household will be covered by our 100 Night Mattress Trial.

  • A mattress that is, in our opinion, damaged, stained, ripped, torn, burnt, contaminated, infected or soiled in any way (including odours) will be excluded from our 100 Night Mattress Trial. 

  • A mattress that is not used on an appropriate bed frame or base will be exempt from our 100 Night Mattress Trial. We reserve the right to inspect the bed frame or base.

  • A mattress that is returned outside of this policy will be unauthorised and excluded from our 100 Night Mattress Trial. You will be responsible for the risk of loss and for shipping fees for any unauthorised returns. 


  • You may exchange your mattress for another model or size once within the 100 Night trial period. You will be responsible for any difference in price. If the selected mattress is priced lower than the original mattress, no refund will be given.

Making a Claim

  • To request a return in accordance with this policy, you must contact us first on

    or info@bedtimestore.com.au. Once your eligibility is confirmed you will receive a Return Mattress Authorisation (RMA) number. 
  • Once your authorised return is received by us in a good and sanitary condition, you will be reimbursed the full price of the mattress. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within approximately 30 days. 


In areas where there is a Government issued public health order, we will extend our 100 Night 100 Night Mattress Trial until such a time as you can safely arrange for the return of the mattress. Please contact us for further information on 1800 577 569.


Australian Consumer Law

  • The benefits given to you by this Guarantee are in addition to other rights and remedies that you may have under any applicable laws. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
